How to Participate

Participating in the SpaceKids Global Writing Competition is easy:

  1. Choose your preferred category: Sci-Fi Short Story, Poetry, or Non-Fiction Essay.
  2. Prepare your submission - let your imagination soar!
  3. Submit your entry by October 31, XXXX using the online form provided on our website.
  4. Winners will be announced on our website and notified via email by November XX, XXXX.

Guidelines and Tips

To increase your chances of winning, keep the following guidelines and tips in mind:

  • Stay true to the theme of space exploration and discovery.
  • Showcase your unique perspective and creativity.
  • Use vivid imagery and descriptive language to engage readers.
  • Proofread your work to ensure it is polished and free of errors.
  • Feel free to conduct research to enhance the accuracy and depth of your piece.
  • Word count limits:
    • Sci-Fi Short Story: Minimum 500 words, maximum 1,000 words.
    • Poetry: Minimum 150 words, maximum 300 words.
    • Non-Fiction Essay: Minimum 800 words, maximum 1,500 words.
  • Submit only original work - plagiarism will lead to disqualification.
  • Make sure to include your name, age, and contact information in the submission form.
